Nancy was born in the Philippines, where she lived with her one brother and five sisters. At 12, she and all her siblings were adopted by a family of five from Olympia, Washington. Prior to moving to the States, she spent three years living in an orphanage – Children’s Shelter of Cebu. As an older child, she helped take care of the younger children and those with more needs.
Nancy attended George Fox University to study Fashion Design. She is an accomplished fiber-art artist with many of her works displayed in hotels and restaurants. She enjoys sharing her artistic skills with others and found it to have a calming effect.
She lives in Portland with her husband, Dan and two boys. Together they enjoy camping, hiking, beach combing, traveling and she occasionally volunteer with the Scouts.
