Eryn McHanSpeech-Language Pathologist

Eryn McHan is a Speech-Language Pathologist and certified Auditory Verbal Therapist who has been supporting children with hearing loss and their families for over a decade. Eryn specializes in family centered intervention and developing Listening and Spoken Language skills for children who are deaf and hard of hearing. She has provided deaf and hard of hearing consultation and services for school districts and has taught a variety of classes for students with hearing loss, including social skills and music classes. Beyond direct therapy services, she has served as a Listening and Spoken Language Specialist mentor, a clinical supervisor for speech pathology graduate students, and as the coordinator of Professional Learning at Stanford’s Listen to Me! conference. She has also worked administratively at an Option school for Listening and Spoken Language, supporting families on all aspects of their hearing journeys. She strives to always continue her own learning, to support families in their language goals for their children across communication modalities, and to grow the confidence and self-concept of the young learners she serves by ensuring therapy services are child led and curiosity driven.

Outside of work you will find Eryn playing guitar and singing with her husband in their indie folk band, reading, gardening, and exploring the outdoors with her family. Eryn is excited to be a part of the Tucker Maxon team and to continue to support students and families in the creative and vibrant school community that Tucker Maxon creates.
