Pediatric Audiologist
The nonprofit Tucker Maxon School is seeking a half to fulltime (ideally .75 FTE) Pediatric Audiologist to start at the end of August 2024. We are looking for a skilled and professional individual to be part of our team. The Audiologist will work with approximately 25 children (ages birth to 12 years) who are deaf or hard of hearing daily for about 9.5 months per year and will have most of the summer off! Tucker Maxon has been on the list of the 100 Best Nonprofits to Work For in Oregon three years in a row. This is your opportunity to become part of an amazing and dedicated team of individuals. Our independent nonprofit private school has approx. 100 students and 34 staff. Our mission is to teach deaf and hearing children to listen, talk, learn, and achieve excellence together. Our school is an LSL (listening and spoken language) focused school; however, children have the opportunity to participate in ASL (American Sign Language) based activities through our ASL playgroups and our after-school ASL club. Our highest values are conversation, confidence, creativity, and community. Our goal is to help children reach their full potential in school, and in life.
